He was preceded in death by his brother Archibald, his wife Elsie and his son Martin and survived by his four daughters, Sandra, Judith, Nancy and Carolin, his daughter-in-law Barbara, his 10 grandchildren and his 7 great grandchildren. Born in Saskatchewan, Philip moved to Ontario with his family spending his working career with Imperial Oil, starting as a warehouseman in Hamilton and retiring as a terminal manager in Sarnia. Philip and Elsie spent their retirement years enjoying their home in Florida and being with their family in Canada. A special thanks to his daughter Carolin and granddaughters Darien and Siobhan who provided care and companionship during his final years. Philip is also survived by his brother Alfred and his two sisters Eleanor and Kathy.
Gratitude is expressed to the doctors and nurses of Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their attentive and supportive care.
