

Phyllis is now reunited with her beloved husband, Alan, with whom she shared 59 devoted years of marriage. Their love and partnership were the foundation of a family that will carry her legacy forward with pride.
She will forever be cherished by her children: Lorraine (Roger) Daniel, Glenda (Brian) Norrie, and Derek Hamilton. A proud and devoted Nana, she leaves behind her treasured grandchildren Brittany (Chris), Emma (Victor), Brooke (Tommy), Cameron, Blake, Alexander, and Elizabeth, and her great-grandchildren Mason, Clayton and Theodore, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her sisters Carol (Jim) Shaw, and Barbara McPherson, and by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Stella and Betty.
Born and raised in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, Phyllis carried her Irish roots with pride throughout her life. Her faith was a guiding light, and she was an active and devoted member of Trinity Anglican Church. She gave generously of her time, volunteering faithfully, and always stepping forward to assist with church organizations and community gatherings. Her warmth, hospitality, and servant’s heart touched many.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held at a later date.
