Surrounded by his loving family Robert John “Jack” Gamble passed away peacefully at Park Lane Terrace in Paris on Friday, September 13th in his 91st year.

Jack was the best friend and beloved husband to wife of 64 years, Audrey Gamble (nee Mann), loving father of Steve (Cindy), Randy (Bev), Brad (Julia) and Susanne (Tim), proud “Papa” to 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, brother to Thelma Hutton, brother-in-law to Phyllis Gamble, Mildred Gray, Pat Wheeler, Pat Wilson, Trudy Legace (Tony), Connie Legace, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and mother Lorne and Una Gamble, brothers Bill Gamble and Alvin Gamble, sisters Dorothy Gray, Lois Gamble, brother-in-laws Bill Hutton, Jack Gray, Lloyd Wheeler, Sherwood Mann, Mervyn Mann and sister-in-law Jean Mann.

Special thanks to the outstanding management and staff of Park Lane Terrace for the loving care and friendship given to Jack and his family during his stay.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Tuesday, September 17th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service to celebrate his life will take place in the Coutts Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 2:30 p.m. Burial at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, Ontario.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

We are sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Did not know until we saw Thelmas notice in the paper this week. Our condolences to all families. He was fun to be around as we were neighbors just up the road from Jamestown.
