Ronald Bertrand Crowe

Passed away suddenly in Cambridge on Thursday November 3, 2011 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Jane Crowe (nee Rumley). Loving father of Kathy (Barry), Bruce (Kimberly) and Karen (Stephen). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Rebecca, Shannon and Connor. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Jessie Crowe. Ronald grew up in Vancouver and earned a BSc from the University of British Columbia and a MSc from the University of Toronto. Ronald has a distinguished career as a public servant, having spent 35 years with Environment Canada as a Climatologist. Ronald was a devout Christian and a very kind, loving man. A talented musician, Ronald served in several church choirs, notably Metropolitan United and Yorkminster Park, Toronto. Ronald was an avid genealogist, photographer, and railway enthusiast. Arrangements entrusted to Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge,(519-621-1650). Cremation as taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family ceremony will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to House of Compassion Fund (Yorkminster Park Baptist Church) or Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
