Rosalia Mirotta Arcuri

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dear and courageous Mother and Nonna, Rosalia Arcuri (Mirotta) who passed away at Riverbend Place in Cambridge on July 7, 2011, in her 78th year. We take comfort in knowing that you are finally at peace and in a place where there is no more pain and suffering. You will live on in our hearts forever. She will join her beloved husband Filippo (predeceased 1987). She will be forever loved and missed by her daughters, Enza (Nancy) Arcuri and Lillian Sigurdson (Russell) and her beloved granddaughters, Christina and Julia. Fondly remembered by her brother Giuseppe Mirotta and sisters, Giovanna Vella, and Maria Mirotta. She is predeceased by brothers, Domenico, Antonio, Angelo, and Salvatore Mirotta, and sisters Paola Mirotta, Giuseppina Schembre, Antonina Palumbo and Anna Dipisa. Forever remembered by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends, that meant so much to her throughout her life. The family of Rosalia would like to extend sincere appreciation to everyone that loved, supported and gave of themselves to care for her. She was truly blessed to have such wonderful people around her. Family and friends were received at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Sunday July 10, 2011 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Parish prayers at 5:00 pm. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at ST. AMBROSE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 210 South Street, Cambridge on Monday afternoon July 11, 2011 at 1 pm. Interment Mount View Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
