I am so sorry to hear this news. Rushelle was a great friend and was always so welcomming. My thoughts are with the Misener and McIntyre families at this very difficult time. There is another angel to watch over us.

My wife taught Rushelle Grades 7 and 8 at Saint Mark's Burlington and in 1984 when she came to Assumption I had the pleasure of teaching her English. She was an eager, diligent and conscientious student. Both my wife and I felt privileged and blessed to have known Rushelle. A gentle soul, with a beautiful smile, and eyes that held you with charm and  optimism. Our thoughts are with you. Your strength to forge ahead will come in part from these tributes but foremost from the memories of the wonderful and amazing person that is Rushelle Hope.

Wayne, as we spoke on the phone the other night, there are no words to describe your loss and nothing to make any of us understand how such a vibrant Mother, Wife, Friend and Partner can be gone far too early. Your relationship with Rushelle was the envy of many and I enjoyed all of the time I spent with you both over the many years we have known each other. Although I have not seen Rushelle in a number of years, I have such fond memories of her. I was lucky enough to go to Elementary and Secondary school with her and remember her genuine smile, her beautiful soul and  good natured manner. I don't remember her saying a bad thing about anyone and treated everyone with respect. Her legacy will be her beautiful children, who I am sure have inherited her empathic and gentle spirit and love of laughter.

The loss of a lifelong friend is one of the hardest.  You were a fantastic mother and they are going to find their way because of that.  There are no words to describe how difficult this is and what the world has now lost - so I won't try.

Words cannot fully understand express how sad I am that you are no longer with us Rushelle.  Your smile and laughter were contagious; your strength and honesty were inspiring. Thank you for being my friend.

So many memories over the years. Laughter was always a big part of any day. From that first day in accounting in grade 13 at MMR.  Thank you for being in my life and making it so much better. My prayers are with your family in this devastating time.

So many happy memories of our work days together at RBC then from co workers we became good friends. Your sense of humour brightened anyone's day. Those gorgeous eyes and that beautiful smile brightened up a room. You had a huge loving heart and all those wonderful qualities lives on through your beautiful children❤
