Ruth Beryl Saulters nee Gillespie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at Stirling Heights Long Term Care at the age of 93. Predeceased by husband Derrick and son John. A loving mother of David Saulters (Carolyn Kerr) and Debbie Kingston (Mark). Ruth was born in Galt Ontario, she attended Manchester Public School and then Galt Collegiate Institute. She was an avid Tennis player, skier, and Curler at the Galt Curling Club, where she and Dad were members for many years. She will be missed very much. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Stirling Heights, and for putting up with her feisty, although most of the time sweet, personality. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 4th from 11am-1pm at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre located at 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, ON. A funeral service will be held at 1pm in the Funeral Home chapel, with a reception to follow. As per the family’s wishes, a private burial will take place at a later date.
