OBITUARY

Ryan Wayne Saunders

September 13, 1979September 20, 2019

For many of you that knew Ryan, he was more than just a free spirit! He was an adventurous, outgoing, world traveler who touched many people’s lives along his journey.

Recently while vacationing in Malaysia, Ryan went on a mission to experience the Orangutan sanctuary. Sadly, he didn't get a chance to fulfill his most recent adventure. In true Ryan fashion; riding on a motorcycle, living the dream, he met his untimely death.

Ryan will be remembered as a loving mamma's boy, with a gypsy soul, a bit of a prankster and a joker. He will forever be remembered by Valarie, his best friend, partner in crime, and always willing travel buddy, his loving family, his many friends and co-workers, both past and present. They often referred to him as “Legendary” because his zest for life was “Epic”.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Wednesday, October 9th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The Celebration of Life will take place in the T. Little Chapel on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 2 – 4:30 p.m. with a brief service at 3 p.m.

Valerie, Jeannine, Ed and Family would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for your generous donations to the GoFundMe campaign to help bring Ryan home.

In lieu of flowers, Ryan would have appreciated donations be made to the Cambridge & District Humane Society.

I met Ryan in high school. He and his Mom moved in down the street from our farm.

Shortly after meeting him I asked him to help me bring in the horses one day after school. We had three to bring in so we went together I took the first one to show him how to do it and he the second. When we got back to the barn Ryan went to get the last horse (Shadow) while I getting the feed ready I heard Ryan yelling. I went into the arena and I see Ryan running as fast as he could past the door on the other side of the arena with Shadow a few seconds behind him. Shadow went to her stall all on her own. I was practically on the floor laughing. That was the fastest I have ever seen him run.

You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Jeannine and Larry and respective families - I have been travelling abroad and was so sorry to hear the news about Ryan. In honour of his amazing life as a world traveller I lit a memorial candle to honour his life at St. Peter's Cathedral in Cologne Germany. He will be remembered always! Lori Ludwig

My sincere condolences to Ryan’s family and friends. I met Ryan at a young age and we became close neighbourhood friends very quickly. It’s very apparent now in looking at Ryan’s pictures, that his zest for life and adventure was there from a young age. I’m sure he left his mark and memory on all those he met. RIP Ryan.
Best Regards,
Ryan Bracken
