Sandra "Sandi" Ellen Matchett (Hart)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandra "Sandi" Ellen Matchett on April 8, 2025, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 76. Sandra passed away surrounded by love, holding the hands of her daughters.

Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tom. She will forever be cherished by her children, Katherine (Denny) and Heather (Tom). She is survived by her loving sister, Lori (John), and her dear sister-in-law, Joan. She will be fondly remembered by Breece and Maria and deeply missed by her best friend and devoted caregiver, Lilian.

Sandra lived a vibrant and full life. She enjoyed a long and happy marriage with a husband who adored her, and together they built a beautiful life with their two daughters. A devoted mother, Sandra poured her heart into every school event and activity her daughters were part of, becoming a comforting presence to their friends and a deeply loved member of the community. A passionate tennis player, she was a proud member of several tennis clubs, where she formed lifelong friendships. Sandra had a deep appreciation for the arts, loved music, and always looked forward to her weekly karaoke nights with friends.

With a glass of wine in hand and her loyal dog, Chiclet, by her side, Sandra found joy in life’s simple pleasures and in the company of those she loved. Sandra’s warmth, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held at a later date, where friends and family are welcome to gather to share stories, laughter, and memories in honor of her beautiful spirit.
