Born in Toronto on August 15, 1945, Stan spent most of his life in Kitchener, where he built a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. A kind and gentle soul, Stan brought warmth and joy to everyone he met.
He had a deep passion for sports, especially golf, and was known for his bold, brightly colored attire on the course, which perfectly reflected his fun-loving spirit.
Stan and his beloved wife, Debbie, shared many wonderful adventures together. Whether traveling to Florida, enjoying the sunshine, or trying their luck at the casino with their favorite sister, Aunt Joan, and her friend Tom, Stan always embraced life with enthusiasm and humour.
To us, his children Mike and Rick, he was a patient, caring, and steady presence. His infectious smile and sharp wit made him beloved by all who knew him.
Stan was a steadfast brother to Jerry and wife Adrianne, a devoted father-in-law to Faye and Liz, a proud grandfather to Ruby, Tripp, Sen and Isla, and a treasured member of our family. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Freda Smith. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with him.
