Syd Harrickey

Passed away peacefully at home on May 4th, 2022 surrounded by “his girls” - daughter, Elizabeth and granddaughters, Britany and Victoria. Syd was born in Liverpool, England and was a life long learner who enjoyed a good chat over a pint. Syd is predeceased by his soulmate and wife, Pat, and is survived by his six children, Syd (Pat), Stephen (Joan), John (Cindy), Elizabeth, Patricia (Gabe) and Mike (Denise), his 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his beloved siblings, Josie and John. A visitation for Syd will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8 (519-621-1650). A Funeral Mass will occur on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clements Parish, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, ON. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
