Passed peacefully on June 4th in her 83rd year at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in the loving company of family. Beloved wife of Karl, mother to Herbert (Carol Trainor), Karen (Roger Bechard), Ruth (Randy Davis); dearly loved by Margaret Ann Grist (Brian Vansickle), dozens of grandchildren and a host of extended family too vast to mention (you know who you are!). She was the ultimate caregiver, accepting as her own every bird with a broken wing or child with a bruised heart that passed her doorway. She taught us the meaning of “do-it yourself” and worked tirelessly for her friends and community. We will miss you mom, but we accept that your spirit was just too big for that tired old body. Visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Memorial service will take place at First United Church 15 Wellington St. Cambridge on Friday June 10, 2011 at 11 A. M. In lieu of flowers the family would gratefully appreciate donations to First United Church or Charity of your choice.
