Don passed away peacefully Friday, August 13, 2010 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 88th year. Don resided at Marsdale Manor Retirement Home in Cambridge for the last six years. He was predeceased by his parents Gladys and Ozzie Krull and his sisters Betty Atkinson and Joyda McLaughlin. He is survived by his brother-in-law Bill Atkinson and will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephew- Susan Ungaro, Sally Stewart, Wendy Craigie, Kim Couvillon and Paul Atkinson.
Don worked as a clerk at Canada Manpower in Galt until his retirement in 1988. Don was a true gentleman and lived a life devoted to helping others. For many years “Mr. Music Man” travelled to nursing homes in Kitchener and Cambridge to play his records for the residents. He enjoyed his weekly Radio Show featuring Big Bands sound on CKWR in Kitchener.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge.
