Adelaida "Aida" Dizon Raymundo passed away peacefully in her sleep at Sunrise Senior Living in Boulder, Colorado on June 23, 2016. She is survived by her oldest sister Rebecca Huagan, daughters Rochelle Mellott and Roxanne Raymundo, and four grandchildren Ryan and Joy Mellott and Luke and Danica Kelley and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Aida was born to Augustin and Felicissima Dizon in Sta Ana, Manila, Philippines in 1938. She moved to the Harrisburg area in 1970 with her husband Rodolfo and became a naturalized citizen in 1976. She worked as a medical claims correspondent at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Camp Hill, PA until she retired to help care for her first grandson in 2004. Aida was a social and cheerful woman who would introduce herself to any Filipino she saw in public. She loved her dog LuLu, shopping, chatting with friends and playing mahjong and gin rummy. She was a wonderful cook and her eggrolls and pansit (noodles) were a hot commodity in the Filipino community. After retiring, she loved to travel and visit new places with her husband of 47 years and play with her grandchildren. She was a sweet, loving soul who was also the best mom anyone could hope to have and she will be sorely missed. Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday at 9am and to participate in her Funeral Mass at 10am. The viewing and mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA. The burial will follow at the Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA.
