Alex Christopher Stager, of Camp Hill, the beloved son of Robert A. and Elizabeth Goff Stager passed away Thursday April 17, 2014 at the age of 27 at Holy Spirit Hospital. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his brothers, Patrick R. Stager, (wife, Susan Bennett) and Paul A. Stager. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harry and Betty Goff and paternal grandparents Allen A and Zelma Stager and Katherine N. Neal. He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish. Alex was a 2008 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and was employed at the S. Wilson Pollack Center for Industrial Training. He loved competing in Athletics in the Special Olympics and often was chosen to compete in the Statewide Games held annually at Penn State. Alex was a big fan of the Three Stooges, SpongeBob SquarePants and Pokémon and loved playing video games and card games, especially Uno. A visitation will held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6-8PM at the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill. A visitation will be held from 10-11AM at the Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Area M. PO Box 382, Summerdale, PA 17093.
