Andrew Joseph Gubicza, 79, of Camp Hill passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 6, 2026. He was born August 16, 1946, in Philadelphia, to the late Andrew J. Gubicza, Sr. and Cecilia Cannon Gubicza.
On September 28, 1968, he married Christina Gubicza (née Norenberg) with whom he enjoyed 57 years of marriage.
Mr. Gubicza was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, the Knights of Columbus, and was a long-standing parishioner at the Church of the Good Shepherd, where he taught Special Education CCD for over 30 years. He was also an active, dedicated volunteer for Project Share, an interfaith organization providing food, clothing, and other resources to those in need throughout the Greater Carlisle area.
Mr. Gubicza earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from LaSalle University and a Master of Arts in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His career was with the Bureau of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for whom he worked as a Management Analyst, spanned more than 30 years.
Mr. Gubicza is survived by his wife, Christina; a daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Larkin; two grandsons, Jude (Courtney) Larkin and Jimmy (Emily) Larkin; three great-grandchildren, James Larkin, Claire Larkin, and Matthew Larkin; a brother, Patrick J. (Chris) Gubicza; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements include a viewing held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Neil S. Sullivan, with internment to follow at Gate of Heaven cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Neill Funeral Home of Camp Hill, PA.
