Barbara Ann Teahan

Born on June 5th, 1964, in her beloved hometown of Rochester, New York the daughter of Thomas and Ilse McGee.

She is predeceased by Thomas McGee (Father) and Ilse McGee (Mother).

Barbara leaves behind a family who will forever be shaped by her love. Her very best friend and husband of 42 years, Jay Teahan. Daughter’s Jenn (Justin) Acri, Michelle (Patrick) Dierkes and son Justin Teahan. Her grandchildren were her world, Xander, Revan, Elise, Adrianna, and Hayes. As well as her lifelong friend Amy Koch. We would be remised not to mention her “babies” Poe D and Chewie, her beloved dogs and cat Schatzi.

Barb was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her.

Barb was proud to be from Rochester, New York. She cherished her childhood memories of traveling with her parents, spending time on Lake Ontario, and time spent growing up alongside her best friend, Amy.

In 1983 Barb met the love of her life at Wegmans where they both worked. Jay and Barb were engaged on Christmas eve of that same year. They got married on a beautiful sunny day, September 1st, 1984, at their childhood church, Saint Lawerence in Greece, NY. In 1985 Jay and Barb welcome their first child Jenn, followed by Michelle in 1988 and then their son Justin in 1991.

Barbara had a special gift of making all who were in her presence feel loved and welcome. She touched many lives during her short time here on earth.

Barb made it known to all her love for her family. Her husband, her children, and especially her grandchildren who she absolutely adored, were everything to her. We were beyond blessed to know and have her love. Our hearts now have a huge hole without her.

She was the absolute best and we will miss her forevermore.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Visiting hours will take place from 3:00pm until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; a charity close to Barb’s heart.
