

He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after serving in the Korean War and then graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and became a Professional Engineer designing commercial community pools. Charlie was an entrepreneur and land developer. As president of Taylor Enterprises Inc., he designed and developed Sun & Splash Swim Club, the teen dance club called The Sunny Club, Country Manor Mobile Home Park, Country Manor Farms, The Meadows, and The Ridings housing developments along with The Yellow Breeches Business Center.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, West Shore Country Club and Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale Arizona.
Charlie was an avid reader, golfer, skier, & tennis player. He also enjoyed long walks and taking pictures. He was one of the founding members of the Five Arts Circle in Scottsdale, Arizona. In retirement, he came to love the game of golf, spending the past 20 winters in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne of 52 years. Also surviving is a son Jeffrey C. Taylor of Camp Hill, daughter Lisa Shedlosky and her husband Tod Shedlosky of Mechanicsburg, daughter Karen Taylor-Nunes of Shiremanstown and three grandchildren, Sara, Alexa, and Maxwell Shedlosky.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Good Shepherd Church on Saturday, June 5, at 11AM. Visitation will be Friday evening at the Neill Funeral Home in Camp Hill between 6 and 8PM. A private burial will be at Ft. Indiantown Gap.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
