Charline Susan Henne, 66, of Mechanicsburg died on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Charline was born on March 28, 1959, to William Gilbert Henne and Kathleen Agnes (Wolfe) Henne, in Providence, RI. She was named after her godmother Charline Barrie and Barrie’s daughter Susan, where the spelling of Charline is from the French influence of that area.
Charline was a graduate of Beverly Nursing School (1979) and worked as an LPN at Blue Ridge, a Nurse Analyst at Highmark BCBS and retired from Novitas.
Surviving are her two sisters, Kathleen (Ed) Andrews of New Port Richey, FL; and M. Jane (Michael) Fuller of Lemoyne; and her two brothers, William R. (Ricki Conner) Henne of Chelsea, AL; and John (Joy Leathers) Henne of Denver, PA; eight nieces and nephews; Rusty (Sherry) Henne, Jessica (George) Slade, and Jonathan Henne; Jessica (Doug) Wood, Tom Fuller, and Tyler (Em Suda) Fuller; Elise (Joshua) Hoagland and Josiah Henne; aunt Bettye Yates Wolfe, and two cousins Jennifer Wolfe-Paddock and Elizabeth Yates Wolfe.
Charline served others all of her life, in her vocation as a Nurse, and in her love of family and friends. She was full of surprises when loving others by kindness and gift giving. She was a life-long sufferer of pain and had over 30 surgeries (20 for her back alone) from the age of 14. She was a strong fighter and had more endurance than the rest of us, yet hardly complained. She was classy, fun, and delighted in her loved ones, family, and friends.
Funeral services will take place at 12:00pm on Tuesday August 26th at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 with a time to gather from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery; 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
