Born on September 2, 1938 in York Springs, PA to the late James E. and Leila Jane (Chriswell) Behney.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Anna Nelson, of York Springs; and his brother Devin A. Behney, of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Chester served in the United States Army for two years as a chef.
An interment of cremated remains will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery; York Springs, PA at the convenience of his family.
