Clarence R. Coble Sr.

Clarence R. Coble, Sr. was born on October 19, 1939, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Amanda and Christopher Coble. He grew up alongside his brothers and sister, who have all gone on before him.

Clarence was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Coble, with whom he shared many years of love and family life. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughters, Nichole L. Coble and Ashley D. Coble.

On August 23, 2025, Clarence passed away peacefully at his home in Perry County, Pennsylvania, at the age of 85.

He is survived by his seven children: Mary J. Washington of Harrisburg, PA, Clarence R. Coble Jr. of Newport, PA, Tina M. Coble of Camp Hill, PA, George S. Coble of Harrisburg, PA, Richard B. Coble of Everett, PA, Teresa A. Bowman of Perry County, PA, Jeff L. Coble of Wesley Chapel, FL He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and countless other family by members and friends who will carry on his memory.

Clarence was a hard worker throughout his life. He spent many years as a driver for Atlas Movers and later worked for Diesel Brothers Roofing Company. But more than his work, he will be remembered for the way he lived—on his own terms, with strength, independence, and a love for life. Outside of work, he was a lover of the outdoors and an avid hunter.

Today we not only honor Clarence, but we remember the bond he shared with Carol. Their love and devotion to one another will continue to be felt in the lives of their children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

Visitation will take place at Neill Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, on August 29, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with funeral services beginning at 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow at Rolling Green Cemetery, located at 1811 Carlisle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
