She was born February 28, 1918 in Sunbury, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Bordner. She graduated from Herndon High School class of 1936 and was employed with the Book of the Month Club for several years.
She was married to Kenneth L. Byerly on February 6, 1937.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Byerly in 1990, daughter, Virginia A. Shultz in 1991 brothers, Harry and Ralph Bordner and Marlin Farnsworth , sisters, Sara Witmer and Lavail Neidig.
Surviving are her daughters, Constance L. Byerly, Diana B. Lavin and Kim E. Gottshall, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday April 4, 2014 at 11:00 from St. John’s Lutheran Church 44 Main St. Shiremanstown, with viewing one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will in in St. John’s Cemetery, Camp Hill.
