I would often see Ed at Jim and Carols. However; after his retirement to Florida, Jim and Ed surprised me one day when I was working in the yard....driving up in a brand-new Lincoln. They were at the local dealer and decided to stop by.

We talked and joked for a while. It was so good to see the nice bond Ed had with Jim..and I enjoyed being there with both of them.

I also remember Ed complementing
me on my art work of a woman and child that I had given Jim and Carol.

I also enjoyed Ed's presentations before meals...which showed his loving care for all.

I feel blessed for having known Ed and will also be always be grateful for his service to our country and all the good that came from it.
