Floss was married to the late Thomas W. McConkey Jr. for 37 years. Preceded in death by sister Jacqueline Munch. Survived by brother, George Weckman of Athens, Ohio.
She was blessed with three children Thomas W. McConkey III (Cyndi) of Naples, FL, Debra A. Anderson (Kevin) of Newport, PA, and Donna L. Mumma (Jeffrey) of Manheim, PA; seven grandchildren, Thomas W. McConkey, IV, Jon Scott McConkey, Joseph M. McConkey, Stephanie Schaefer, Kevin Anderson Jr., Abbey Slothower and Taylor Mumma. Additionally, 13 great grandchildren from Arizona, North Carolina, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Floss was a stay-at-home Mom for a number of years, then went to work at Pomeroy’s department store. She worked for the District Justice office for years, then finished her working career at West Shore Dentistry office in Camp Hill.
Floss enjoyed time with family and cheering on her favorite team, Penn State. She traveled with family and enjoyed her active life. Painting became a passion of hers later in life and she was very proud of her artwork. Many have received these gifts and can cherish them forever.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 26, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00. Service will begin at 12:00 at the Neill Funeral Home 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, Pa.
Inurnment will take place following the service at Rolling Green Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
