She was born April 10, 1939 to the late Landess and Grace (Himes) Brochey. She was the youngest of 10 children. She grew up in the Reynoldsville, PA area. After her marriage to John Rentovich Jr. in 1962 she moved first to Erie PA, then Harrisburg PA, then in retirement, to Clearwater FL. In her later years she lived with her son’s family in Harrisburg, then finally in Chapel Point Retirement community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and all of her siblings. Surviving is her son, John J. Rentovich; daughter in law, Grace Rentovich; and granddaughter Tirza, of Harrisburg PA.
Frances was a deeply spiritual woman. Her Christian faith was constant throughout her life. She was very active with various faith-based organizations while she was able. She frequently offered prayer and support to her friends and family. She was a member of the Times Square Church in Grantville Pa.
Friends will be received from 10:00 AM, Saturday September 13, 2025, at the Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 1:30 PM, Monday, September 15, 2025.
