OBITUARY

George L. Liples

February 12, 1932January 17, 2021

George Liples passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 17th, 2021 at the age of 88.

George was the son of the late George and Jule (Raggi) Liples. He was the beloved husband of the late Violanda (Gregori) Liples. He was the loving and devoted father to Marirose (Dennis) Donlin. Cherished PopPop to Jessica (Nate) Carik, Katy (Mike) Ursta, Maggie (Jeremy) Weaver, and Matt Donlin. He also lovingly adored his seven great-grandchildren, Jules, Nick, Max, Dom, Katelyn, Bailey, and Blake.

George was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Shanahan Assembly, where he served for over 50 years. He will be remembered by his family as the wearer of cowboy boots, lover of the tractors, and maker of the pasta, but most importantly, he will be remembered for the unconditional love he had for his family.

It is with sadness we mourn his passing but with joy we celebrate his eternal home with our father and of course, his beautiful wife, Vicki.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or the Good Shepherd Church building fund. The funeral mass is being held at 11 am on Friday, January 22nd at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the mass at the same location. The mass may be offered live stream through the church.

We are sorry for the loss of your dad and are praying for you and your family during this time. We remember the generosity that your dad and mom shared with us over the years. George was a very warm and engaging person who cared deeply for his own family, people in his hospital ministry and his church family. Lovingly, Aunt Esther and Aunt Mel.
