He was born in Juniata County, son of the late Frank and Catherine (Galamey) Barlow.
He graduated from JJHS, class f 1941, Mifflintown, PA. He was a Sargent in the U.S. Army serving during WW II and participated in the Normandy Invasion. He retired from Steelton Highspire Railroad after 40 years of service as Division Accountant
He was a life member of Steelton Moose Lodge and American Legion Mifflintown Post 298. Harry enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
He is survived by his sister Olga and her husband Edward Monighan, of New Cumberland, 2 nephews; Gary and his wife Barbara Monighan of Mechanicsburg and Dennis Monighan of Lewisberry.
Funeral Devine Liturgy will be at 11:00am, Monday, April 8, 2014, from St. Ann’s Byzantine Church, 5408 Locust Ln, Harrisburg, with viewing from 10:30 till time of service in the chapel of the church. Interment will be in Churchville Cemetery.
