Helen Josette Osif

She was born May 16, 1922, in Hazleton, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Wydznski)

Kopchinski.

Helen was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill. Helen and her husband John were

founding members of St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Harrisburg, PA. She enjoyed gardening,

traveling and spending time with her family. She was always ready for a new adventure. A devoted,

loving, wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Osif.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Ann Rousso (Irving L.), of Scottsdale AZ, son Robert Osif

(Brenda), of Mechanicsburg, PA, grandchildren, Zachary and Ariel Osif of Mechanicsburg, PA, a sister,

Sophia Awdakimow, of Hazleton, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 Friday, January 2, 2015, at Good Shepherd Catholic

Church, Camp Hill, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church.

Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, PA

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
