Dr. James Miles Fox

Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Jennie and Joseph B. Fox Sr.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra A. Fox, his daughter Jana M. Fox, his brother Joseph B. Fox Jr. and sister Nancy Crawford.

He was a graduate of William Penn High School. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (pharmacy) and Jefferson Medical School. He retired from the State Department of Environmental Health. Throughout his lifetime he enjoyed traveling with his wife and collecting stamps and coins. He was a lover of all animals, from his fish to his cats and dogs to his monkey.

He is survived by a sister, Gloria M Fox, a son Jeff Prowell and his wife Sarah, daughter's Jill Fox and Judi Althouse and her husband Wayne. Grandchildren Zach Prowell and his wife Shandra, Ryan Shambaugh and his wife Kelley, Nikita Fox, Alek and Annika Althouse and 4 great-grandchildren Lila and Levi Prowell and Kayden and Kinsley Shambaugh.

Funeral services will be held at the privacy of the family.
