Joanne Pratt was a great lady. She was a very stong, giving and private person. As we sat next to each other for 13 years we learn a lot about each other and our families. It was no secret that she had many medical problems but she looked each one in the face and battled, never giving up. We would talk of the good and the bad of each problem and some how she managed to fight each one.

We had lots of fun with each other and looked forward to each day. Some of the things we would do, Monday mostly, is have show and tell. It would consist of things like events we attended over the weekend like baby showers, weddings, graduations and visits, to a taste of cracker pudding which I still can not make. We would give each other ideas for Christmas gifts for the family and would start thinking of things in January which Jody said was just not right.

Jody was very proud of all her family and was thankful for each and everyone. I may not know you all personally but feel as though I know you all from the stories.

Jody will be missed greatly but when I think of her I will do it with a smile. Your family can also smile when you think of her knowing she loved you all with all her heart.

Best friend always - Linda Altland

You were a wonderful Aunt and I will miss you very much. I have many happy memories of times we spent together; to the movies when I was little, to picnics through out the years, sitting and chatting at each other's homes over coffee, one favorite memory is when you were at our house when we were selling Christmas trees one cold, windy day and I had been out in the field all morning and afternoon tagging trees for people and you braved the cold and wind to bring a sandwich and hot cocoa out to me. You always loved and cared so much for all of us and I'm sure God made a special place for you in heaven so spread your new angel wings and fly until we meet again.
