John J. Krafsig, Jr., Esq., (88), of Camp Hill, PA passed away Tuesday at Holy Spirit Hospital after a brief illness. Born October 7, 1928 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late John, Sr. and Martha (Shinosky) Krafsig. Mr. Krafsig was a 1949 graduate of the University of Scranton and a 1952 graduate of Georgetown Law School. Being a member of PA and DC Bar, he practiced Law for over 64 years before the Courts of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court, retiring in May 2016.
Mr. Krafsig was proud to be a part of the legal profession and believed in giving back to the community. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Schorr-Krafsig. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Agnes Kerrigan in 1996, his parents and a brother Donald.
Viewing hours will be 6-8pm Sunday at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St, Camp Hill, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Harrisburg. Burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to John's endearing Leper and Orphan colony in Burma (Myanmar), being a benefactor for over 49 years. Checks may be payable to "Thayet Myo Memorial Fund", c/o Citizens Bank, 4101 Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
