He was born February 7, 1942, in Harrisburg, son of the late Quentin and Marie (Beam) Wise.
John was a graduate of Susquehanna High School class of 1961; prior to retirement he was a Taxi Cab Driver in the Harrisburg area for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a niece Randi Peck.
He is survived by his sisters; Faith “Betsy” and her husband Ralph M. Messersmith, of Enola, Stephanie Wise, of Mechanicsburg, Merrilee and her husband Gary Peck, of Dover, nieces and nephew, Michael Christine and Carrie and several great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St. Camp Hill, Funeral will be at 1:30 at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Rolling Green Memorial Cemetery, Camp Hill.
