Judith Nevin Emmers, 72, of Marysville, PA, passed away September 11, 2015 in her home. She was born May 23, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William L. and Mary Ruth (Stanton) Nevin. She graduated from Central Dauphin High School and California State College. She was a special education teacher; after graduation she taught in Westmoreland county schools and then worked for the Capital Area Intermediate Unit from 1975 until her retirement in 1999. She was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Hershey-Hummelstown, had been a chorister in the Hershey Community Choir, and was a Road Scholar Ambassador. She took great joy in her family and her numerous friends. Judith was passionate about traveling and music – always had another trip to embark on and a song to sing. She is fondly remembered by many former students who kept in touch over the years.
Judith is survived by her son Vaughn Neill and his wife Pam of Youngwood, PA; daughter Heather Revanna and husband Venki of Lakewood, CO; and her three grandchildren.
A ceremony to honor Judith will take place on October 3, 2015 from 11 am to noon, followed by a gathering from noon to 4 pm at Whitetail Lodge, 30 Brubeck Circle, Marysville, PA.
