Katharyne Irene Myers

She was born January 15, 1915, in New Cumberland, PA, a daughter of the late Roy and Iva (Rudy) Anderson.

Katharyne was a Home Demonstrator and District Manager with C&B Toy Company; she was a life member at Derry Street United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. Most importantly, Katharyne devoted her life to her family and always enjoyed holidays and family gatherings. Her strength and kindness provided an unconditional love that will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harper “Jack” George Myers Sr., brother, Kenneth Anderson and a sister, Evelyn Gesford, and son-in-law Jack E. Myers.

Surviving are her loving children: Gwendolyn Myers, of Enola, Carolyn Rothenberger, her husband Tom, of Dillsburg, Marilyn Stroup, her husband Dennis, of Mechanicsburg, Harper “Jack” George Myers Jr.,his wife Bambi, of Enola, her sister Margaret Matthews, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 Wednesday, September, 26, 2012 from Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St. Camp Hill, with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery,
