Kathleen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and New Cumberland Army Depot Women’s Club. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, William G. Henne, three daughters, Kathleen Andrews of New Port Richey, FL, married to Edward Andrews; Charline Henne of Mechanicsburg; and Jane Fuller of Lemoyne married to Michael Fuller; two sons, William R. Henne of Chelsea, AL, married to Ricki Conner Henne; and John Henne of Denver, PA, married to Joy Leathers Henne; eight grandchildren: Rusty, Jessica (Slade), and Jonathan Henne; Jessica (Wood), Tom, and Tyler Fuller; Elise and Josiah Henne; four great-grandchildren; one brother Wescoat Wolfe of Anacortes, WA; one sister-in-law Bettye Yates Wolfe; and two nieces Jennifer Wolfe-Paddock and Elizabeth Yates Wolfe. She was preceded in death by two brothers Leon K. Wolfe, Jr. and Russell M. Kathleen was the light and sunshine of the family and she loved God and others well. She typically sent out 400 Christmas cards each year and seldom forgot to send hand-written birthday, anniversary and holiday cards to all her friends and family. Kathleen often said “a sense of humor is your best friend” and lived by that rule. She delighted in her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends, and she never passed up an opportunity to play a board game filled with laughter, fun and stories around her dining room table!

I was anxious for this troublesome. unprecedented 2020 to be over! I almost made it. Then on Dec 30th I received the dreaded call that my sweet cousin, Kathleen had passed away. Oh, how I shall miss our phone chats, cards and letters and genealogy. Don't worry, I know where she is. The Lord greeted her by her first name because she is His best friend. She was His hands on the earth. She clothed the poor, visited the sick , fed the hungry and the rest of us too. She always had the "hotel" lights on for all. I am so proud to be related to her. She has raised the standard high and I will always look up to her(no pun intended).I think the post office may go broke without her stamp purchase! God bless you Bill, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. My love to each of you. Sandra Black

Kathleen was always a ray of sunshine, she was my brother-in-law's sister, and I remember the many times Kathleen visited Bettye and me when Lee was in Vietnam. We often would go for a lovely lunch in Georgetown and laugh so much that we were the focus of the other diner's attention. She was a delightful lady and loved her family with deep abandon. May she rest in peace.
