Kathy, along with Shirley Gallagher, was the best neighbor on Lehigh St. It was always a pleasure to walk past her beautiful yard or share a comment or two with her. She was a wonderful lady and an example of what a good neighborhood should be.

Kathy was a wonderful friend... full of life and laughter. I met Kathy when I joined St. James Church in Wilkinsburg after relocating to Pittsburgh from New York City.
Kathy introduced me to Pittsburgh... theater, museums, parks, the Murals at St. Nicholas Church in Milvale, protesting the closing of Braddock Hospital, a picnic at St. Emma's Monastery, and her friends, Kay and Marge. There were wonderful dinners at her home and fun whenever we were together.
Kathy was there for me when I had to move because my apartment was damaged. She took me around to look at places and was there when I found a new apartment.
Kathy was a good friend!
