Laura C. Williams

.Laura (Cafferty) Williams, 90, of Mechanicsburg; passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Manor Care, Carlisle. She was born October 9, 1923 in Sidney, NY; she was the daughter of the late Orrin W. and Mabel (Barth) Cafferty Sr.; and preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Williams. She was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II; a member of the Blue Mountain WAVES Unit 12, W.I.M.S.A.; and she volunteered at the Mechanicsburg Library and the Mechanicsburg Museum Association. Surviving are 2 daughters, Anne Lehmer, husband, Timothy, of Dillsburg and Nancy Zentmeyer, husband, Brock, of Mt. Holly Springs; 3 grandchildren, Alex Lehmer, Lindsay Spencer, husband, Aaron, and Drew Zentmeyer; great grandson, Zayden Spencer; and her brother, Orrin W. Cafferty Jr., of Denver, CO. Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2014 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110. -
