Lynn A. Johnson, 78, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday January 18, 2022 in Bethany Village.
He was born October 20, 1943 in McKeesport, son of the late Norman and Alice (Gasser) Johnson.
He was a graduate of McKeesport high school and received his bachelors from the University of Dayton.
He was a computer systems analyst and programmer for the Government for 34yrs; prior to his retirement he became a consultant for SAIC.
Before illness took over, he enjoyed daily workouts and socializing at the West Shore YMCA, riding his bike and playing golf. He was known to indulge in a nice glass of red wine or a neat manhattan. He was a new junkie, often watching Fox News for hours.
His greatest passion however was his family. He devoted himself so that his wife and children were always safe, comfortable and happy. He will be missed more than words can say.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Linda J. Johnson who passed in 2015.
He is survived by his daughters; Jennifer Johnson Wall, her husband, Matt Wall and Joanna Johnson.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday January 29, 2022 Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, 444 Silver Spring Rd. Mechanicsburg 17050. A memorial service will follow directly after the visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Parkinson’s Research, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Silver Spring Presbyterian Church.
