Born on March 22, 1928 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Weinholz) Riske.
She was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin and moved to Camp Hill, PA in 1973. She was a stay at home mother and a lifelong devoted Lutheran who was involved for many years in church activities such as catering events, bible study, book clubs and altar guild. She loved to bake; she was especially known for her pumpkin pie. Marion enjoyed reading, traveling, camping, watching Philadelphia Phillies baseball, family genealogy research and sewing. She reupholstered numerous pieces of furniture. She always enjoyed learning new things and even started golf lessons in her later years.
Marion is preceded in death by her husband Harold and her daughter Diana Snider.
Surviving her are her daughters, Deborah Stein and Rebecca (David) Brunner; her son, David (Kathy) Stein; grandsons, Matthew (Michelle) Larson and Daniel Stein; great-grandchildren, Luna and Milo Larson; step granddaughter, Christiane Brunner; and her step great-grandchildren, Julia and Ethan Mott; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2022 from 9:00-10:00am at St. Timothy Lutheran Church; 4200 Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am. Burial will take place at 12:30pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Annville, PA 17003. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
