Martin is survived by his wife Nancy, brother Benjamin A. Anspach of Enola, and two nephews – Benjamin of Delaware and Brad of California.
Martin was married in 1955 to the love of his life, Nancy Moyer of Mechanicsburg and they recently celebrated their 63rd anniversary.
Martin loved boats (having his own at age 9 – which his father made for him), cars and planes (he once soloed at a local airport). He also had an interest in War Birds and had several books and magazines about the Civil War. He enjoyed cooking, grilling and dirt bikes and was an excellent swimmer.
He was a Sargent at the Enlisted Evaluation Center in Indianapolis and taught Machine Accounting to enlisted men and high-ranking officers. His tour of duty was extended for 3 months during the Cuban Crisis.
Martin was employed as a manager at Gannett Fleming for over 40 years and after retiring worked part time 3 days a week.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill, with viewing from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. Entombment Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
