Surviving Michael are his loving wife Madelyn (Hourihane), daughter, Maeve and son Ronan. Brothers Paul (Morgan), John and sister, Kathy (Craig) Lauder and 12 nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. He was a practicing attorney for nearly 30 years. He served in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office, the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll, and as Corporate Counsel for EQT in Pittsburg PA. He only recently joined the McNees law firm in Harrisburg, PA. Michael was an exceptional attorney, who helped a number of people in various fields. His specialty was energy, infrastructure and public policy. He had an overwhelming passion for helping others and an uncanny ability to endear people to his persona and passion for life. He was a true statesman that enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Above all else, he cherished his family and friends. Michael traveled throughout the world and was involved with horse racing, the wine industry, and the golf world. He enjoyed his role as an official for the Pennsylvania Boxing Commission. He was an avid fan of all things related to the sports world. He will be deeply missed by a vast number of family, friends, co-workers and people that he just simply touched with his kindness and generosity.
A visitation will be held at Neill Funeral Home, located at 3401 Market St, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, 17011, on November 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Another visitation is scheduled at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, located at 3435 Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, 17011, on November 3, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on November 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
