Miriam Alberta Culton

Miriam A. (Dornsife) Culton, 94, of Camp Hill passed away peacefully on the morning of December 8, at Vibralife. She was the wife of the late George R Culton to whom she was married for 60 years. Born in Aristes, PA, on January 25, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ada (Kreisher) Dornsife. She graduated from Shamokin High School and worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Harrisburg. She is survived by her by sons; David A Culton and wife Renate of Harrisburg, PA, and Jeffrey S Culton of York, PA; her beloved grandchildren; Michael Culton and wife Kasey of Boise, Idaho; Jessica Culton of York, PA; Joshua Culton of Lancaster, PA; and Jacob Culton of York, PA; and her great-grandchildren Abigail, Samuel, and Victoria. Miriam loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was happiest with a house full of people - either gathered around the table enjoying a home cooked Sunday dinner or during the annual family trip to the Outer Banks. She loved the beach and enjoyed reading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill and made sure that her children attended services and Sunday school every week. A service in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St, Camp Hill, PA. The family will greet friends before the service at 10:00 AM, prior to service.
