She was born January 24, 1934, in Altoona, PA, the daughter of Jack and Gladys Patton, who preceded her in death—also preceding her in death is her sister Joyce Hewitt.
Nancy graduated in 1951 and began working for the government. She eventually would work with Berg Electronics before retiring from the United Food and Commercial Workers Union many years later.
Nancy loved to watch NASCAR, attend Church, cook for family and friends and play Yahtzee with her grandchildren. She loved animals and had a particular fondness for cats, especially her cat Yogi. Above all, Nancy will be remembered for her devotion to family and putting others before herself. She was a classy lady with a contagious laugh. She was also the rock of our family, who we deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by five children, William Fannasy (Gail) of Harrisburg, PA, Robert Fannasy (Luann) of Dauphin, PA, Susan Hewitt (Kim) of South Carolina, Tracey Mundis (George) of Ohio, and Ronald Miller Jr. (Millie) of Florida. Eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one nephew (Scott) of Florida.
