Born in Lewistown on October 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Kilmer) Yocum.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Howard Patterson.
Surviving Phyllis is her daughter Terri Sue Patterson of St. Michaels, MD ; sons, Robert John (Jeanne) of Atlanta, GA and James Kirk (Sharon) of Dillsburg, PA; 5 grandchildren; Christopher, Michael (Melissa), Leah (Austin), Sierra and Connor as well as a great grandchild, Eleanor Grace Patterson. She is also survived by a brother Eugene Yocum, and many nieces and nephews.
Phyl was a member of the Camp Hill Women’s Club and the Holy Spirit Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf and played with the Range End Country Club Women’s Golf Group. She was a member of the congregation of Grace Evangelical Lutheran in Camp Hill. She and her husband Jim had many summer vacations at Ocean City, MD, and winters spent in Tucson, AZ. Phyl was an avid antique collector.
A visitation will be held on Saturday May 15, 2021 from 9:00-10:00am at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A private burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery; 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The American Diabetes Association, Cancer Research Institute or charity of choice.
