Ray was born February 1946 to the late Sadie and Raymond D. Kehler Sr.
He honorably served his country in the Army from 1965 – 1968. Ray was a graduate of Bloomsburg University, where he received his master’s degree in Business Administration, and later earned his second master’s degree of Science in Information Systems from DeSales University. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Hospital Central Services and Miller Keystone Blood Center as Vice President of Information Systems.
Throughout his life, Ray was dedicated to the martial art of karate, earning his third-degree black belt, and later instructing karate at the YMCA. Ray had a mean bowling streak and was a lover of Motown music. He was an extremely talented dancer and could whistle a tune like no other. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time away in the Adirondack mountains with his late wife, Gudrun, to whom he was married for 51 years before her passing in 2019. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Ray is survived by his two Daughters, Natalie (husband Doychin) and Tanya (husband Jonathan); Grandchildren, Sonia, Jenna, Jordan, and Tyler; Sisters, Linda (husband Bill) and Joan (husband Keith) along with their children and grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Neill Funeral Home of Camp Hill, PA located at 3401 Market St, Camp Hill, PA 17011 at 11AM. A visitation will be held at 10 AM until the time of the service.
