With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Oxenford on November 21, 2025 due to complications related to chronic lung rejection. He survived 10 years after his double-lung transplant and had MS.
Deeply mourned by his wife, Lori, his brothers Thomas and Brent and his sister Claudia. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, David and Kathryn Oxenford and his brothers David Oxenford Jr. and Karl Oxenford. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was a proud Marine Corp veteran. He retired after 26 years of service from the Borough of Steelton.
Bob’s kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. To meet Bob, was to become his friend. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and animals. The funeral service will be held at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Annville, PA on Monday, December 1st at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following the service, a luncheon in memory of Bob will be held at Skyline Family Restaurant; 7510 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg.
