He was born February 28, 1925 in Harrisburg son of the late Robert E. and Bertha (Strayer) Redmond.
He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to retirement he was employed as an Electrician for over 75 years.
Robert was a member of the IBEW Local # 143 and the Retired Men’s Club, Life Member of the NRA and Central Penn Rifle Club.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice (Nesbit) Redmond, of Camp Hill, son, Robert L. Redmond, of Downingtown, a brother Dr. Thomas S. Redmond, of Huntingdon and 2 nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 Monday, October 27, 2014 from Neill Funeral Home, Inc., 3401 Market St. Camp Hill, with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to service. Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
