Robert Snyder

Robert Snyder, 81, of Harrisburg, passed away on December 31, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Ella Snyder, his 6 sisters, Mary Signor, Ellie Shearer, Beatrice Strom, Katherine (Nonnie) Shearer, Laura Snyder, Nell Bamberger and his only brother Abie Snyder.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great- great nieces and nephews thru out the Harrisburg area and many other states. His niece, Doris Heilig, of Harrisburg and great niece, Sally Hull, from Cody, Wyoming, will miss him always. He will be in our hearts forever but never forgotten. It was an honor to have known him and to see him.

Robert loved many things, his T shirts, pictures and magazines. He loved going to his Lifetime Adult Day Care, as he loved all of his directors and workers. He would always try to be of help to them. He would cut coupons out and save them. If he heard one of the workers or directors needed something he would see if he had a coupon to help them. He loved Joann Padmore, the supervisor of the group home as well as everyone else. He also loved Charlene Collins and her family. She would take him to her house every Christmas for dinner as well as pick him up and take him to her home for barbeque’s and also to church and all of these things that he loved. And they loved him as well. He will be sadly missed by all.

There will be a gathering at the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 11:00a.m. to 12:00 Noon with a remembrance at Noon. Burial will be private.
