Dear Ron,One year ago today, Our Heavenly Father called you home. My Dear Big Brother-YOU are sadly missed every day by family and friends. You gave ALS a strong fight, but in the end, this dreaded disease with no cure was simply too strong to live with. We all watched you suffer and are thankful to God that the suffering has ended. You live on in our hearts forever! What a wonderful place to spend Christmas: in Heaven with God, and all of those who have gone before us. We love you and are glad you are no longer suffering. Ron was truly a wonderful person, and left us too soon. I have many, many great memories of Ron, with his good humor and quick to laugh. He was good company to be with. I was fortunate to share some life experiences with him, high school band, learning to drive a car, life in general. Whereby, Ron always provided solid advice and good councel. Ron was a smart man, not shy to put shoulder to task. Farewell brother Ron.

Ron, it was my pleasure to meet you when you arrived at the VA Hospice. We bonded at the very first time we meet and it was my honor to attend to you, I tried to make sure I was the a meal times, this way we could talk about so many things. We talked about the Coast Guard ships I served on, being up in Greenland and then GITMO, and you telling me all about your service and places you were sent to. Our talks were personal and I thank you for giving me guidance for my concerns. We also talked about how we will meet again in Glory. I'll miss you when I return to the VA. You are in Safe Hands Now. ronnie and i have been friends for over 50 years we played in a band together in the 60's then i started my band in 68 or 69..we recorded alot of songs and was a great drummer friend..and his family was the best..his mother and dad and grandma joined us often at one of our carnivals or fairs..he will be missed and at least he's out of pain..i'm sure i'll be seeing him before to long and will start a band in heaven..
