He was born September 10, 1929 in Harrisburg, son of the late Grant and Grace Wayne.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force; prior to retirement he was employed with the US Postal Service.
Wally was preceded in death by his wife, Daris Wayne in April 2014.
Surviving are his children: Deborah Lingenfelter, Richard A. Wayne, Michele L. Bricker and Kimberly Demnitski, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was private at the convenience of the family. Interment was in Rolling Green Memorial Park
